Coaching for Adults and Children

Manging Child Behaviour

A coach is someone who helps others reach their potential by helping them to become self aware, develop a sense of responsibility for their actions, build  a positive self image, change behaviours that are not useful to them, overcome problems that hold them back, work out what they want and help them get there.

Coaching for Parents:

Parents come and see me when they have a problem with their child’s behaviour and have run out of ideas on how to help their child resolve their issues. I provide a supportive, confidential and non-judgemental service and have helped many parents to feel more confident in their parenting, learning to trust and follow their instincts. We can work together on finding new strategies that work best for you and your child.

Children don’t come with a manual as they say – and it would have to change weekly to keep up with them!  Also every child is different and often parents don’t understand why one thing works with one child but not another.

If you would like to gain further insights into child behaviour ring me to book a one-to-one coaching session where we can address issues such as:

  • Lack of Confidence
  • Anxiety
  • Sibling rivalry
  • Family break ups
  • Behaviour issues

Coaching for Children:

One-to-one sessions with children who may be having friendship issues, feeling anxious and not knowing why, lack of confidence and other issues.  Sometimes children need someone to talk to who isn’t family and I can help.  I use an integrated approach of coaching and play therapy which will depend on the child and the problem that they have.

Everyone is different and each child will need the approach that is right for them

Coaching can address:

  • Confidence building
  • Developing self esteem
  • Social interaction
  • Motivation and listening skills
  • Learning to think and solve your own problems
  • Taking responsibility for what happens to you
